altThe tajine is traditionally used in Moroccan and North African cuisine. Designed to promote the return of all condensation to the bottom of the pot food cooks in its own juices ensuring exceptionally healthy and tasty dishes.

Typical tajine dishes combine lamb or chicken with a variety of dried fruits, nuts, preserved lemons and spices. The tajine is however immensely versatile for vegetable stews, pot roasts and dishes such as ossobucco amongst many more.

Our tajines are thrown by hand using specially formulated fireproof clay. Able to be used directly on an electric or gas hob, in a microwave or conventional oven the tajine can also be used on charcoal braziers or open fires making it an unusually adaptable cooking pot for both indoor and outdoor living.
